Thread: Seat post diameter

Could you please inform me of the seatpost diameter for a Colnago C50 HP 2005. I am wishing to replace the current post but I am not sure if it a proprietary 28mm post or if the frame could accommodate a 27.2 post.

It would be a 28mm. I shouldn't shim a 27.2 - you could damage the frame.
