Thread: Frame Identification Please
Posted 17 April 2012 at 09:03:22 UK time

Hi everyone,

I have just bought an older Colnago for £200. The only problem is that i'm not sure if the frame is a legitimate Colnago?

It has been poorly resprayed, black and has had white stickers put on it. There are no 'clubs' indentations. It has a ten speed cassette, Ultegra groupset, Ritchey stem and Ritchey Carbon Forks. The brakes are fitted with the rear brake on the right and it has a flat side to the crank tube that the front derailleur is brazed onto. The frame material is aluminium as far as i can tell.

Any help that anyone can give me would be much appreciated as i'm hoping i haven't bought a chunk of rubbish. :(

I have some photos but i don't know how to put them on here, but i can forward by email if you think you can help.

Kind regards
Rich
