I have tested Colnago C40 in Varese and Como districts in Lombardian Italian mountains. I should say - it is the best road bicycle I ever ride!

Yes it is a superb machine, i rode mine many times in the french Alps in the Morzine area, just superb for both climbing and descending.

A long term investment in cycling heaven.

Regards

Fang!

I had a C40 for 4 years. It was the most beautiful bike I ever had, but it was too good for me and I sold it to an up and coming amateur rider. I'm restoring a 1986 Colnago "Mexico", Columbus tubing. I road it for 20 years and hope to have it road worthy again soon. I found the C40 to be too light for me and I never used it to its full potential (too frightened or lack of skill!)
