Does anyone know where I can get an expert repair to a Dream? I was hit by a car and the rear stays seem to be slightly skewed although I can't be 100% its not just a bent chainring/crankset.

Hi mate, crashed my C50 and bust one of the HP rear stays, got it repaired through an excellent bike shop - £500 to insert a whole new rear triangle, (HP and b stays) but they then had to repaint the whole frame because of the bakng process but they did give me a choice of paint jobs so that was fine - phone the retailer who sold it to you and ask them to sort it out, they will send it back to windwave who will sort it out with colnago in cambaiago - if you bought it from maestro he might send it back to his belgian distributor and then back to cambaiago possibly, but the end result will be the same

Nice one Rhys, the frame is currently sitting in a cupboard in my basement, I'll see what windwave can do.
Turns out it was a bent chainring and the stay is dented. Of course the risk with aluminium is that once cracked it will fail. I've got a C50 too I suppose I should be happy with that but I still love that LX10 paintjob on the dream....

Hi Robin, just picked up my new extreme power in wx02 colours a couple of days ago - havent ridden for 6 months due to injury but managed 20 on saturday and 50 today (just!) so a year of sportives this year to get the miles bakc in and then hopefully back racing again next year. You could always paint your c50 in LX10! Colnago might not do it but Mike at Maestro can do any colour - check his web site out for some old C50 and extreme C paint jobs that some people have ordered - theyre neat!
i have submitted a photo of the extreme power, should be up in a couple of days if you want a look.
Rhys
